In 1994, Zhejiang Hulong Industry & Trade Co., Ltd. (HULONG SPORTS) was established in Yongkang, Zhejiang Province — a city long known as China's hardware and metalworking hub. The company's roots, however, go back to 1989, when its founder began developing power tools and e-motors in Yongkang, laying the engineering and manufacturing foundation for everything that followed. From these beginnings in electric mobility and motor R&D, Hulong steadily built the in-house capabilities — tooling, welding, surface treatment and assembly — that would later power its entry into kick scooter manufacturing. Three decades on, that founding commitment to vertical integration remains central to how HULONG SPORTS operates.
